Inside the house
Downstairs is set up for proper holiday living.
The kitchen and dining space works well for shared meals, whether that’s breakfast before heading out or a slower evening back at the house. There’s everything you need without overcomplicating it, including a dishwasher, coffee machine and slow cooker.
The lounge is comfortable and easy to settle into, with recliners and a SMART TV, while the separate games and cinema room gives you space to spread out, especially useful on quieter days or when the weather turns.
Upstairs, the bedrooms are simple, comfortable and well laid out, with a king, twin and single room. The bathroom has a shower over bath, straightforward and practical after a day out walking or at the beach.
Outside space that actually gets used
The garden wraps around the house, giving you plenty of space to sit out, eat, or just let the dog wander safely. It’s fully enclosed, so you don’t have to worry about them disappearing off while you relax.
There’s a patio area with seating, and enough room for kids or dogs to properly use the space, not just look at it.
Off-street parking for up to three cars makes arrival simple, especially if you’re coming as a group.

This is a properly dog-friendly stay.
You can bring up to two dogs, and the secure garden means they can relax as soon as you arrive. Walks start from the door, with the Cinder Track and coastal paths nearby, so you don’t have to load the car every time you head out.
After a day exploring, there’s space for everyone to settle back in, dogs included.

The Firs sleeps up to five guests across three bedrooms: one king, one twin (two singles), and one single. It’s ideal for families, couples, or small groups.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes, they are very welcome in fact, we allow up to two well-behaved dogs. The garden is secure and there are great walks nearby. Please let us know in advance if you’re bringing pets.
Is the garden enclosed?
It is. The rear garden is fully enclosed with fencing and hedges, safe for dogs and small children.
What are the bed sizes?
There’s one king-size bed, two standard singles in the twin room, and one single bed in the third bedroom.
Is it suitable for children?
Absolutely. Many of our guests are families. We have space to spread out, and the enclosed garden makes life a bit easier.
Is the house accessible?
The house is two-storey, with all bedrooms and the bathroom upstairs, so may not suit those needing level access. Please contact us to discuss any specific needs.
