One of the loveliest AirBnB properties we've stayed in - a real home-from-home. Everything was so clean and comfortable. Loved the welcome gift - especially the cake! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this house - we would definitely use it again when in the area. We enjoyed the South Bay in Scarborough itself but would definitely recommend a trip to Whitby too - only a short drive away - gorgeous place!

A lovely home in a great location. Well equipped throughout, our children enjoyed having two reception rooms. Very pleasant local walks on the doorstep, with a very welcoming pub in the village. Local buses available if you want a break from driving. The welcome pack was a lovely addition.
Joseph was a pleasure to deal with and we will definitely return for another visit.

Wish we’d had longer than just the bank holiday weekend is this lovely home - well equipped, spacious, comfy beds, in a great location. Highlights for us included an evening walk to North Bay and the proximity to the Cinder Track from the house. Thanks also for the tasty welcome pack!

Lovely clean accommodation with everything we needed for a really comfortable and relaxing holiday. Fantastically stocked kitchen so we could cook easily during our stay. Easy walk to a coastal path and only about 45 minute’s walk down onto beautiful north beach in Scarborough. Easy to find and great off-road parking.

A real home from home, perfectly clean, with all appliances and equipment you need for a comfortable stay and a lovely welcome pack of cake, biscuits, bread and local farm fresh milk to greet us. The house is situated in a peaceful location, where we even saw deer in the field across the road from the house. If you enjoy walking the coastal path is an easy half hour walk away, the cinder track just 10 minutes, or Scalby village just 15 minutes walk away. A little further afield, but all within 30-40 minutes drive are Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay, Boggle Hole, Flamborough, Bridlington… not forgetting Scarborough just 5 minutes away. Clear information was provided for locating and gaining access to the house. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if in the area. Many thanks for a wonderful stay.

Absolutely loved our stay. everything was as described, and the extra living room was a hit with both our 6yr old and our adult son with special needs as it gave them space to themselves. they didn't want to leave.

The images on the web site don't do this cottage justice. It is lovely. With a great and big garden, The kitchen is very good along with the layout of the house. We fully enjoyed the stay and nicely surprised when we arrived.

Me, my partner and 6 year old son had a lovely holiday stay at the Firs. The house was bright, extremely clean and had everything you would ever need for a stress-free stay. From the amazingly comfy beds to the spacious open plan kitchen/diner everything was perfect. The house is in a great location. Just a steady costal walk to Scarborough sea front, easily managed by my 6yo, and even closer to Scalby village with a lovely village pub and shops. I cannot recommend The Firs enough and will definitely be booking to stay again. Thank you.

We’ve enjoyed a great family break at The Firs. The holiday home is clean, comfortable and well equipped, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The house is in a great position to enjoy costal walks along the Cleveland Way and into Scarborough. We’d highly recommend staying in this lovely home and hope to visit again soon.

This home is absolutely beautiful. I have only good things to say about our stay here. The home is warm, comfortable and inviting. The owners left, milk, cake, tea, coffee and biscuits. It was so kind of them to do that. The location is wonderful and so peaceful. The garden is gorgeous and the house is literally minutes from the North Bay of Scarborough, which is stunning. We had a wonderful time here and would definitely return.

Lovely clean house in a superb location. Easy accessible to Scarborough by foot, bus or car. Plenty of places to walk either on the Cinder path or Cleveland Way. Would stay there again.

We had a really good time at the Firs. The property is very well located to explore the area, whether by car, walking and by bus. We especially enjoyed the windfall apples in the garden and to have our breakfast out in the terrace - we were very lucky with the weather! The house is in a quiet location, so we had a very restful time. Our pet who is very old and sensitive to change settled very well in the house and this was a real bonus. Unfortunately, we couldn't get the washing machine to work and the dish washer was out of rinse aid so couldn't be used. Perhaps the owners could look into this in between customers? We really appreciated the local milk and we went back for more as it was so delicious. We plan to be back as we loved out time at the Firs.

A spacious property well looked after maintained to a high standard. Welcome gifts milk bread etc was a nice treat. Location ideal for the coast and on a bus route to Scarborough. Easy parking a bonus, booked our next holiday at The Firs already. Thank you.

Lovely comfortable property. Well equipped with all that you need. The bed was super comfy after a long day exploring. We had taken our slow cooker but there was one in the property. Close to all areas and a steady walk into town. Would definitely recommend and go back.
Mr Chris Wakeman
This was the cleanest and best equipped holiday home we have ever stayed in. It was also very handy for travelling north or south on the coast and visiting the beautiful inland countryside. Very highly recommended.

BRILLANT FIND, we hit the jackpot with this one. Quiet, peaceful and private. The beautiful garden was a bonus. Not far from Scarborough. Had all the amenities and more. full size bath and powerful shower. Extra-large towels. Beautiful bedding and comfy beds. Had an infant and a toddler with us absolutely loads of space. my granddaughter Niamh kept calling it grandmas new house she loved it and had it had ample space for us all. Will be going back with other members of our family. It is a must for anyone travelling to that area.

This is a lovely large property with good gardens to sit in on a sunny day. It’s only a short drive to Scarborough. The house was well equipped with all the essentials, and we were left a lovely welcome pack (the cake was lovely). It was spotlessly clean. And this is an excellent base to get to Whitby and Filey both only 30 mins ish drive. All in all a lovely stay at a lovely house (I could easily have stayed another week). We will be booking again very soon for next year.

Lovely comfortable property. Well equipped with all that you need. The bed was super comfy after a long day exploring. We had taken our slow cooker but there was one in the property. Close to all areas and a steady walk into town. Would definitely recommend and go back.

Really enjoyed our holiday The standards are very high in cleanliness and the cottage is well equipped It is obvious that the owners have put a lot of thought into this and it is very much appreciated especially the welcome pack We have already booked for next year.
Mrs Rhodes
Very well presented and clean property. Welcome pack was appreciated after a long journey, thank you. Information folder gave all the details you needed except when to put out the appropriate bin for collection, we managed by observing the local properties. We would suggest that a grab rail is provided in the shower area, this would be a useful addition. Our little dog enjoyed exploring the large back garden so that added to our overall holiday pleasure.
